Through my years of travel to Bali, I have forged connections with a talented family-run manufacturer consisting of a small group of tailors, a pattern maker and production manager. On my many visits, I have spent days and days alongside them in their work environs and have witnessed their talent first hand. Our longstanding relationship helps to provide stability and security for families and working mothers, one of the core tenets of ethical sustainability for our brand. Production in Bali can take more time—many local Hindu holidays and ceremonies do not align with the business calendar in the United States—but these are traditions we work to honor in our partnership.
